Meet Brutus, the Pit Bull who had made a home of the Los Angeles streets. There was a car repair shop near the area where he had been staying. The people who worked there were glad to feed him whenever they could, and he was happy to take the food.

For a homeless dog, he was pretty friendly with the people. He had no problem with being approached, and he even welcomed being touched on some occasions. It was a good thing that the people he met were kind.

It was also possible that he was a friendly dog at the core. And that anyone he met, he considered a friend. At the very least, until they did something to show him that they were not.

Taking this dog home for oneself was going to be as easy as eating cake. But it was a good thing that they decided to let the Hope For Paws organization be involved. At the very least, where the dog was going, he would be pampered.

The rescuers arrived and were surprised to find that the dog was only too happy to see them. It meant that this particular operation was not going to be as tedious as they usually were. And the dog could be spared the several minutes of panicking and being stressed out.

After engaging in small talk with the mechanics, the rescuers let the dog say his goodbyes. They then brought the dog to their car, where he kissed both of them again and again. It was as though they were his long lost family, and they were finally being reunited.

While they were driving, they saw a billboard that featured a “good vibes” quote. It was a promising sign if they ever saw one, and the dog continued to give them affectionate kisses. After that, Brutus was given a bath, and they started the first of several more treatments for his skin problems.
