The rules of how to cross the street are pretty simple. Before taking a step forward, look to the left and then to the right. Wait patiently, make sure the speeding cars have slowed down.
If there is a traffic light, wait for it to give you the signal. When the time is right, go ahead and cross the street.
Simple as these rules are, however, humans tend to forget. They make quick dashes even when cars are moving, often resulting in accidents.
The downside is, when accidents do happen, everyone points their fingers. No one is willing to own up to the blame.
PATIENT DOG IN RUSSIA WAITS TO CROSS THE STREET
Interestingly, in Chelyabinsk, Russia, we see a dog patiently wait for someone to help him cross the street. It is highly possible that the dog sensed danger.
It was a snowy day and the roads were slippery. The street was quite busy too, since there were plenty of cars present.
The dog was limping, probably from standing too long on the snow. Dogs sometimes have a hard time walking on snow if their paws become too dry.
This can be a reason why they struggle during the winter—their paws are in pain.
Good thing a traffic enforcer saw the poor dog. He walked toward the dog and signaled everyone to slow down.
The dog, albeit hesitant, followed the traffic enforcer. It walked off merrily once it reached the other side of the road.
When the video was posted online, it went viral. It also received a lot of reactions from Twitter users.
One of them said that Chelyabinsk, unlike other areas, is not harsh at all when it comes to these situations. From what we saw on the video, there is a high chance that everyone will agree.
